Bungee jumping

 

We have a lot of challenges in life, casino gambling, or trying to get something out of our lives.  

Usually, there is a vague confidence that our challenges will work out well, or a belief in our experience, our own ability, and our financial resources.

Even bungee jumping, which throws itself into the air, will be rare except for those who commit suicide, who try to run without resorting to ropes.

It is possible because people who want to kill themselves rely on the belief that if they die, everything will be over and they will be free from this problem or pain.

The two acts in front of us are the same as jumping into the air, but they depend on different things.

The common denominator of the two acts is that they do so for freedom. 

My words may be controversial now, but if I try to solve the meaning with a cool heart, 

In the case of bungee jumping, even if you rely on rope, the guarantee is not 100 percent, so you experience the fear that follows, and enjoy freedom and freedom from the fear that is about to be thrown into the air. 

In the case of suicide, he chose suicide to get out of a situation that was more unbearable than that of a person who died, but he would not have chosen it if the situation he expected would not have developed even if he died, but if the current situation continued.

Behind the choice could have been a vague commitment to the belief that it could be better after death.

It is a pleasure to be bound by anything, so one of the expressions of true freedom in Buddhism is "like a wind that doesn't catch a net."

It implies that you are talking about true freedom and at the same time you are not relying on anything.  

I believe there will be no foolish man bungee jumping without a rope just because I told him not to rely on anything.

For those people, it's like falling in love that I once mentioned on the front page. In that case, smart people who fall in love and jump on the rope of bungee jumping will not be able to truly love because they are afraid of the pain of love that has yet to come.

The same is true of looking for me. There must be no place to rely on. In other words, there must be no place to go back so that you can go straight for me.

It is also pitiful to use these words to extort people's money and everything from a cult.

Words are hard to say and I become careful. 

But if i am too careful, there is nothing to say about it.

So all I say is to inform you of this one thing, so please read and listen carefully. 

There is something that Zen masters take away too like masters of pseudo-religious religion, and it is a mind that relies on something.

Only then will the mind lose what it has to rely on and find out that the rope of bungee jumping was binding on me, and then it will take a step from empty to true freedom.

It's important to understand my words well, but more importantly, to understand the silence between words and words.
