Delphi’s teaching-1
"Know yourself," this word is inscribed in the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. It is widely known around the world by quoting the Greek philosopher Socrates.
Goethe, a German writer, also told his aides, "I don't know myself." Many people now live a day chasing something and being chased by something without even asking themselves this fundamental question.
So what is this "me"? This is the first and last question, and there is an answer to this question.
It is faith or love that the upper religions that have endured a long time consider important, without faith and love for the god or carrier of each religion, one cannot take the first step.
But both are made outside and cannot be injected into me. In other words, there must be this foundation of "me" outside before meeting or forming, but on top of it, there must be a stage of play against the backdrop of the world, and then faith and love flow out and meet a God that suits me.
So isn't it natural for me to feel as insignificant as a white canvas that supports the picture of the world, even if it is the most important, and if it is the most important, it seems insignificant?
Humanity has relied on unwanted religion and science as it wanted.
If we had found the answer in "Know Yourself," which was a big hint for us, all problems would have been solved cleanly without the help of religion or science.
It is my opinion, but science and religion are much alike, but they depend on each other like the front and back of a coin.
To me, science is a religion based on proof, but it always fails because, according to the times, new evidence always appears, knowledge that has been rolling through the century becomes false.
At that time, the Geocentric theory was right, but 1400 years later the moment the Heliocentric theory was proved the story that he had believed so far becomes a superstition.
But they do not call it superstition, but they glorify it as having another knowledge through the whole process, so that they maintain its reputation, lay eggs of new ideas, hatch them, and enjoy an era.
If truth is something that a few smart people can study and find out as they think it is, then the ministry should come out of the university's lab and answer to the world.
I don't mean to denigrate science, but these days, it's delusional to think about it without proving it by its own standards.
And it is the great tool of science that comes more than danger, like the lessons of the Terminator, that the delusions that they do not learn themselves from their brilliant heads, but only think in their own minds, are published in a book with their eloquence and lose the opportunity to simply realize themselves.
The answer to all these questions is "Know yourself."
