What are you?

Even if someone asks you easy questions such as your height, weight, or age, you must think for a moment and answer them.

The reason is that they belong to "I," not to me directly, and they change over time.

But when someone asks, "Do you exist?" there's no reason to borrow the power of thought.

It is ironic that such a "I" is lost despite having no reason to look back and not being able to be lost.

Most people think of "I" as a body, something about me is not me, it is not me, it is my body.

When I say this, there are many people who strongly deny it, and I can understand that I am repulsed by anxiety about identity, but because I have believed in it for a long time like a habit, equating my body with myself becomes the cornerstone of finding a true me.

For those who believe in science more than I do, on the basis of science, the human body is said to start with fertilized eggs that used to be only one cell and complete with about 60 trillion cells.

As you all know, we human cells, too, are not permanent, and are constantly repeating and dying every day, with an average of 10 billion cells per day dying and reborn.

Each cell has a different cycle, but for example, liver cells are replaced almost every year with a new liver.

In other words, before I become an adult, my body disappears into a dead cell, not the body I was born with.

My body is not unique to what I knew, but transformed into my body today, such as potatoes and Kim-chi, pigs and cows, which we ate yesterday, then what have we been unconsciously saying "I"?

Would you follow me when the last cell eventually dissipates if you were stuck in this body for the rest of your life, believing that you were "I" in a leather pocket, simply by looking at the logic of the world?

If you have understood it to some extent so far, what looks different than before is that you are ready to go beyond the stereotype of your country.

As I said in the beginning, the car of "I," the house of "I" and the body of "I" are not me, but in my life, I have been connected by my own destiny and have been together for a while.

The reason why I'm so obsessed with the body is that it's so sensitive and it's been together for a long time, and the computer and thought function called "brain" have been overprotecting my body, so I'm pretending to be "I."

Already, with the development of medicine, we are using large and small parts of the body replaced by machines.

Unlike older generations, our understanding of our bodies will become easier for children of the next generation, as it is expanding not only into simple parts but also important components such as the heart.

Knowing my body right away is the first step in finding me.
