If you feel uncomfortable for no reason in your daily life, you are lost in thought.  You can quickly see such uncomfortable thoughts, but good thoughts are not easily known because they are attached without knowing themselves.  So knowing that good thoughts are not different from bad ones is the way out of the long habit. It's a disease that comes to mind for no reason, and the moment you perceive it as a disease yourself, a good habit of letting go of the thought itself without being dragged into the content of the idea will naturally arise. But literally old habits have been built up for almost a lifetime, so it takes your constant effort to some point...
