Christmas presents that continue every year.
The story that comes to my mind when I think of Christmas is Christmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens in 1843.
The story is about the protagonist Scrooge, who was obsessed with money, meets the three Christmas souls who visited with his friend who became a ghost on Christmas Eve and realizes himself by looking at his past, present, and future.
Money and honor are not objects of obsession, but side tools used to live our lives, but if we become slaves to them, we have no choice but to forget what is really important in our lives and live miserable.
It is like us losing our true self, believing that only thoughts and delusions are true, and living obsessively.
Our lives are not made with just one individual's thoughts, but flow naturally like water.
If a person is too obsessed with money, thoughts, and water and stays for a long time and cannot circulate, he or she will rot.
Many people forget what is important and live.
So Christmas, which continues every year, is like a gift that makes us look back on the true self.
